Security Exception Request
Welcome! Please login to submit a new Exception Request
This interface allows you to request exceptions to the minimum standards. It also allows system administrators to ask for exceptions to the periodic scanning initiated by our group. All exception requests are reviewed by our staff and marked approved, rejected or renew. You must login with an openID to submit a request. If you aren't familiar with OpenID, please read the guide at syswiki or just login using "openid.ucsd.edu/openid@…". However, we encourage you to use a more accurate OpenID, you may find a list of the ones you can use at http://openid.ucsd.edu.
We will periodically ask you to renew the exception and will also ask you to keep us informed of any changes. If you would like an e-mail informing you of your approvals, denials or renewals, please enter your e-mail address in the "cc" field of your exception request.
If you're here for the first time because an e-mail, then it's usually because someone has added your name to the CC-line of one of the exceptions. This allows the system to provide you with updates on any status changes or comments on a registered or pending security exception that pertains to you.
